For the new G29 the reduced depth model of Revo-Rack is required with the single vacuum cup relocated to the first cross rail The original E85 Z4 requires multi direction fittings for the two rear vacuum cups to allow then to swivel and secure the angled boot lid Revo-Racks can be fitted either way around - you call No clamps, no brackets no damage. Revo-Rack PA is hand polished for a deep shine whilst still retaining the lightweight properties of aluminium. Fitted and removed in seconds without tools.Can be fitted with the hoop at rear or front of boot lid.The easiest luggage rack in the world to install.No 3M paint protection stickers ( great on the first use but after that ? ).No metal clamps that will at some point damage paintwork.Because the full face of the pad is brought into contact with the boot/trunk lid, distortion is reduced, allowing the cup to be used with very little risk of damage. Unlike suction cups that produce a vacuum as they pull away from the surface, Revo-Racks vacuum cups use a hand-actuated pump to efficiently remove air from between the rubber pad and the attaching boot/trunk lid thus creating a much more reliable hold. Vacuum cups employ the force of atmospheric pressure to grip a surface: When a vacuum exists between the cup and the surface on which it is attached, the weight of Earth's atmosphere holds the cup in place with incredible force. Vacuum cups are not the same as suction cups they are much much stronger and were developed in the late 1960's to hold film camera's to cars. The Revo-Rack uses vacuum cup technology it sits on three 115mm vacuum cups these are rated as being able to hold an 18kg load each. Revo-Rack passed all these tests : It won't fly off ! The rack went through speed, braking and force tests, to ISO 11154:2006 the international standard for car roof bars and the European Directive for general safety 2002/95/CE.
